Today in class we talked a little bit about the three types of maps and even labeled the three maps. The things we had to label on the maps are listed below.
- The Equator
- Prime Meridian
- Nation of my origin
- Seven continents
- Five oceans
- International Date Line
- Tropic of Capricorn
- tropic of Cancer
- John Carroll School
When we were labeling the maps I color coded each of the different tasks that we had to cover so that I could easily point it out/locate it if I needed to. Most of the maps stuff like the continents, oceans, equator were all review. I also liked being able to do an activity like that rather then just writing down notes even though I like doing that as well. So far I am really enjoying this class along with the unit that we are covering right now. All in all I liked the style of today's class because it was a little bit of a change and now I have visualizations for the maps that we are covering this unit.
