3% or 9%?????

Today in class we spent a lot of time researching one question regarding the percent of the world's population that are migrants. The reason that we were researching this question was because the textbook said that the answer was 9% and the PowerPoint said that it was 3% so everyone wanted to know what the right answer was. We took a poll at the beginning of the class to see who thought that the right answer was 3% and who thought that the right answer was 9%. 19 people said that the right answer was 3% and 3 people thought that the answer was 9%. I said that it was 3% and after much research we concluded that the right answer was 3%. Then people had questions as to why did the book say one things and the PowerPoint say something different when the same publishing company wrote both. Our teacher thinks that the company just made a mistake so that is what we had to go with. Then we started talking about politics and about Trump which I don't like talking about at all. Reasons being because everyone has different opinions and in my opinion I don't like him. A lot of people in my class like him and think that making a wall at the border is OK as I feel that he handles problems like this wrong and thinks his solution will make things better but it actually makes things worse. All in all class was pretty good today and it was last mod which was nice also the hallways are starting to come together nicely with all of the Christmas decorations.
