Approaching the end of the quarter

Today in class we didn't learn anything new or take any notes. We started the class talking about if anyone was missing any assignments for that class and why some people were receiving points off of their blogs. It turned out that a good portion of the points taken off for the blogs was because people would upload their blogs on Sunday when the one from Friday is due on Saturday. Then a lot of people were confused as to why they only got a 5/10 on the CIA assignment and that is because all they did was list five facts instead of writing a paragraph for each fact. I went ahead and wrote a paragraph for each fact because I didn't want to risk getting points off. I am glad I decided to take that extra time to write the paragraphs because if I didn't that could have brought my grade down to a B. We found out that the CIA grade along with the blogs from last week were the last thing that would be put on quarter 1. I am glad I ended up with an A in that class and my goal for next quarter is to get a more solid A. Then after people fixed grades we had the rest of the class to ourselves and some people decided to play computer games and were caught. I felt bad that the person playing computer games got a detention because she is super nice but the teacher had to be fair since be had given another kid a detention for the same thing. Towards the end of class Mr. Schick came to the back of the room and asked some of us why we don't raise our hands and participate and the answer is because I don't want to get the answer wrong. I was made aware that next quarter I will need to participate because that could end up being a 100 point grade which is equal to a test. All in all today's class was pretty easy and i was able to do some more studying for my biology test.
